Michael Caine joined the patent attorney profession in 1989, and has been a Principal of Davies Collison Cave Pty Ltd since 1998 where he is responsible for the firm’s organic chemistry/pharmaceutical group. Michael is currently the President of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia (IPTA) and Vice President of the Study & Work Commission (CET) of FICPI. Among other accolades, Michael has been recognised as a Leading Individual in Patent Prosecution by IAM Patent 1000 from 2012 to 2016 and 2018, and as a Managing Intellectual Property 'IP Star' from 2014 to 2019.
