Brett is a founding partner of CPST Intellectual Property. Brett’s expertise includes patent drafting and prosecution, portfolio management, and opinion work regarding patentability, infringement, and validity. His practice focuses on patent-related issues in the software, electrical, and mechanical fields, with particular emphasis on multidisciplinary systems.
Brett provides strategic patent advice for clients ranging from large multinational corporations to individual inventors, and is responsible for managing patent portfolios of all sizes, including industrial designs and design patents.
He has experience servicing clients in the financial services, emerging technologies, data analytics, wireless telecommunications, oil and gas, data security, medical image processing and apparatus, software systems, automotive electronics, process automation, and consumer product industries.
